MODULAR SYSTEM - The Transit's modular design enables it to evolve in line with the current recovery program, by adding or grouping categories of materials.

Each module is completely independent and can be attached to the others. Each module is front-discharge, but materials are deposited through openings on the top (choice of opening: slotted, round, square). A rubber edge around the opening makes the product safer. The lid is sloped to prevent debris from accumulating on the top of the islands.

MATERIAL - The manufacturing material is sheet steel with 50% recycled content, recyclable at end-of-life. The sheet is finished with electrostatic paint (baked-on paint) for high durability. The bin uses 18-gauge sheet steel, except for the bottom, which is 14-gauge. Plastic 58-liter (15 US gal.) liners are inserted inside each compartment. Bags measuring 22" x 36" can be used inside each of the liners. The liners, which feature a lip at the top, are made from plastic with 35% recycled content. Their proper insertion into the compartment is facilitated by two guides attached to the bottom.

DIMENSIONS - The exterior dimensions of a module are 13.39" (wide) x 16.54" (long) x 38.19" (high).
